The Karel Suszka Project
Karel Suszka was a Czech photographer active in Czechoslovakia from the 1950s through the 1980s, documenting everyday life, family moments, and the changing social landscape with a thoughtful, documentary eye. His work captures both intimate domestic scenes and broader cultural contexts of the era, often on film negatives now showing the effects of age. His family has asked me to restore those original negatives and digitize them so the images can be preserved, shared, and appreciated by relatives and future generations.
